Eggcellent afternoon!!

We had an EGGciting afternoon on the nearby chicken farm as we learnt about how free range eggs are made as well as organic eggs. Organic eggs means they haven't been fed artificial foods. These chickens have a good life because they can run free. The eggs are collected on a conveyor belt and we had to pack them into a pink crate. There were so many chickens - 4000! The most EGGcellent part was seeing Miss Swan have 9 chickens on her head and arms! Kiera was very brave and went first, she couldn't help but tell loads of Yolks the whole journey there! The weather is so sunny today and we had chicken and rice for lunch. For pudding we had treacle sponge and custard. Every child had seconds! We know you will all be jealous!
