Photos of our trip to Slimbridge - End of our stay at Wick Farm!
The children have had a brilliant day at Slimbridge Conservation Wildlife Park today. They got to learn about all different types of birds and water animals, including a talk on the Otters. They are all now very tired, getting ready for bed and ready to see all their friends and family back at Brockswood tomorrow!
One of the staff members from Wick Farm today said that not for one minute did they think Brockswood Primary wasn't an outstanding school. The children's attitude and behaviour was nothing other than outstanding at all time.
'You were all brilliant!! Worked hard, had fun and didn't moan - can we keep you all for another week please?!' (Dave - FFCC)
'What a lovely group of farmers! Polite, hard working, fun to work with. We've really enjoyed our first group of Brockswood Farmers and look forward to having more in the future' (Heather - FFCC, Head of Wick Court Farm)
The children have been absolutely brilliant and we are incredibly proud of each and every one of them.
Good morning from Day 7 - Home tomorrow!
I am feeling tip top this morning after a good nights sleep. It is raining here but we cant complain because we have been lucky with the weather so far. Looking forward to coming home but don't want to leave as I've got used to it round here, made new friends and loved the food!! (Jaden - Oak)
I am excited to come home tomorrow but I like it here because I have made new friends like Sam and Jaden and have loved eating so much food!! I loved going to Oldbury farm and feeding the calves and cows. (Charlie - Willow)
All children slept from 8.30-6am today and were up and out for farm duties at 7.30am. Big breakfast this morning, more farm duties then off on our day trip. We will update the blog when we get back with lots more photos :)

Nearly dinner time on Day 6
It is really fun here and I have made new friends this week. Today we have made a big bonfire outside using lots of logs. I really enjoyed it. Tomorrow we are going to Slimbridge and I hope I will like it there. (Reka - Willow)
All children looking forward to another big dinner tonight and of course pudding. Every child always finishes their plate and most ask for seconds!!

A slightly sticky situation....
We spent the afternoon orienteering. Before we even started, Alina's welly got stuck in a mud pit. We all tried pulling it out but we made it ten times worse. We are all now filthy and needed a hosing down (!) before coming inside! (Paige - Willow)
The food and activities have been great throughout this trip especially going to the neighbouring farms. It has to be one of the best trips I have ever been on! (Shakrist - Oak)
The children are about to tuck into their home made pizzas before more farm activities and an early bed time! All children have loved being out on the farm grounds in the sunshine today.
